No one. Since HB 33 there is no assessment, no curriculum submission, no instructor credential check and no records review.
What you must file
Home education notification
By 30 AUGUST each year, and within 5 calendar days of commencing home education, moving into a new district, or withdrawing from a public or nonpublic school

Content is only the parent's name and address, the child's name, and an assurance that the child will be educated in the required subject areas. The superintendent must acknowledge receipt in writing within 14 calendar days.
The part the paperwork does not cover
Filing on time is the easy half. The harder half is the year in between: showing what your child actually learned, in words the reviewer recognises, without turning your home into a school.
That is what this tool is for. You say what your child did, in a sentence. It maps that to the published standards we hold for Ohio, which today is Mathematics (487 of 496). Those figures count the topics we carry for ages 5 to 12 that cite one of Ohio's published standards. We do not hold Ohio's own standards for English, Science and Social Studies yet, and they are being added. Physical Education is not in the app for Ohio yet. A moment in any of those subjects is kept on the general map for your child's age and named that way in the record, so the record never cites Ohio's curriculum where we hold none of it. Its words: notice goes to the superintendent 'within five calendar days after commencing home education, moving into a new school district, or withdrawing from a public or nonpublic school, and by the thirtieth day of August each year thereafter'; it carries 'the parent's name and address, the child's name, and an assurance that the child will receive education in the subject areas required under this section'; and 'the child's exemption under this section is effective immediately upon receipt of notice'.
